Intex launched its Aqua Ace II smartphone soon after listing it on the company website on Monday. This smartphone is priced at Rs. 8,999, which is Rs. 4,000 less than its predecessor, the Aqua Ace. The Aqua Ace launched in September last year.

The Intex Aqua Ace II is a dual-SIM supporting handset that runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution IPS display with a pixel density of 294ppi. The company claims that the handset features 80 percent screen-to-body ratio.

The Intex Aqua Ace II is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735V/W processor clocked at 1.3GHz, clubbed with 3GB RAM DDR3. It houses 16GB inbuilt-storage, out of which users will receive roughly 12GB for personal use. The budget smartphone however, can support microSD card (up to 32GB).
